How to Register in the Nellie Program

Students interested in attending the Nellie L. McClung girls’ junior high program must register for the program using the Edmonton Public School District registration function. This differs slightly depending on whether or not the student is currently registered in the Edmonton Public School system. Please note, students are not required to write an entrance exam to register in the program.

Students Currently registered in the Edmonton Public School system

If the student is currently registered in a school in the Edmonton Public School system, the student can be registered in the Nellie program via SchoolZone. Simply sign in to SchoolZone between 9 a.m. on March 9 and 4 p.m. on April 15, 2020 to select the Nellie program for the 2020-21 school year. 

When you sign in to your caregiver SchoolZone account on your computer, tablet, or smartphone:

• choose Next Year

• select the name of the student you are pre-enrolling

• follow the instructions to select the student’s preferred school for next year

Students New to the Edmonton Public School system

If the student is new to the Edmonton Public School system, a Student Registration‌ form will need to be completed. ‌Schools start accepting registration forms for the next school year on February 3, 2020.
